Interesting topic. And sounds like an interesting book.

To be brief ( possibly a bit simplistic, yet truthful) ... I don't think there is any figuring this out. I mean, there is no human solution to how to bring people back together again. I have seen much better men than me try ... I have seen how the Saints will find something, no matter how trivial, to divide over. They will find any excuse to reject a man of God who is trying to get them to move their feet.

And indeed... I believe that even though it is Satan at work among us ... that it also serves God's plan, to frustrate the efforts of man.

Nothing but the power of God is going to heal the body.
Nothing but His power will silence the many, many voices of opinion, controversy, and contention.
We must, at last, discover our utter failure to bring about the Kingdom on our own terms.... and fall down at His feet, and repent, and seek ONLY His will for us ... whether or not it offends us, or our traditions.

In all honesty, Tom ... I believe it will take nothing short of men and women of God being ordained by the hands of angels to move out in mighty power, healing the sick, raising the dead, prophesying, and full of knowledge and wisdom that puts the critics to silence, and causes men and women to become humbled, and repent, and begin again.

Although he and I have some disagreements, we agree on much - especially the most important things, including the gathering of the tribes and Ephraim's true role or PART in the Kingdom, as in one part, not the whole picture. He is a good man, and one who is a true servant of God. He has seen much disappointment over the last few years, and I feel for him.

That could probably be arranged. He lives in the Ozarks down south ... a 2-3 hour drive. But he comes and visits occasionally.

Joseph knows he is welcome to stay at our home anytime he comes this way. He is a good friend.
We don't let our minor differences come between us.
