I wanted to share this beautiful poem. I did not write it, but it is so beautiful that I wanted to share it with others.
You're My First True Love
You're my first true love, Lord,
how my heart does soar
Everytime I feel Your touch,
I only need You more.
You're the blood in my veins,
that flows into my heart.
With each and every pulse,
we will never be apart.
How can I be silent
About a love that is so strong?
You make me soar with eagles,
and sing a joyful song.
Where can I go,
that I do not feel Your grace?
You're entwined within my life,
I long to touch Your face.
I have nothing in my life,
that I won't give to You.
I awaken with my lips,
saying, Jesus I love you.
Let me reach into Your arms,
and hold You close to me.
And gently kiss Your face,
for Lord, You set me free.
