What is a "Sefer Mormon"?

...also: Could you tell me how you like the quality of books published by Lulu? I am writing two books now which I have been planning to publish using Lulu, and the prices are very affordable, but wondered if you have any comments about them.

For the sake of being clear about what you mean by the law is not done away with, and that we should follow the Torah, what do you say should be done in regards to Passover?

Forgetting the Jewish custom that has developed... strickly speaking, I mean in regards to the command for what must be observed at Passover, according to the law in the Torah. How do you see it being fulfilled today? How should it be observed? In the exact same manner as it was originally, or has it be transformed in some way after Jesus fulfilled it?

I'm not sure I fully understood your answer.

Are you saying then, generally speaking, that in some things of the law in the Torah, there has been a transformation, or change, with the establishment of the New Covenant?

I might be misunderstanding what you mean. But from what I can see, I doesn't appear that those things given in the law (as a school master) ever changed its symbolism, as these things have always symbolized and pointed to the work Christ would do.

I would, however, say that those things that are now fulfilled in Christ, do and have changed in their observance.

One example of this, I believe, would be the Passover. Jesus is our Passover Lamb, of course, and the Passover always has, and does continue to point to the Lamb of God who takes away our sins, so that by the covering of His blood, the angel of death passes over our house. Once Jesus came and fulfilled what this observance was pointing to, it underwent a change. He sat in the upper chamber with his disciples on the last Passover meal he would have with them, and began a new tradition for passover, that of the communion of his body in the bread, and his blood in the wine, which is observed now to this day, for a remembrance of what He did, as our Passover Lamb, rather than an observance of what He would someday do... as was the case with Passover before His death.

While those things which are not yet fulfilled, remain, to be observed, as in the Melinnial Reign of Christ, when as the prophet Zachariah says, all those nations that do not come up to Zion every year to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, the Lord will cause the rain to be withheld, and they will be visited with a plague.

No mention of any other Feast Day that must be kept. Why? Because all the others have been fulfilled, Rosh Hoshanah, Yom Kippur, now fulfilled... except for Tabernacles, because it teaches about the Millienium which is not yet fulfilled... until the end of the thousand years, when the eigth day dawns, and a new heaven and earth.

This is not to say we do no longer observe those things that have been fulfilled in Christ, but rather, their observance has changed, or been transformed, now that the mystery behind them is revealed, and what they had symbolized is plainly manifest.

This is my understanding of it. Not to knock what you are trying to share, or insist that my understanding is more correct above others... but simply sharing what I believe the Spirit of God has revealed to me.
