I have loads of thoughts on this! The problem is putting them down in a coherent response
When I think of the verse forbidding us to cast pearls before swine the following imagery comes to mind. Say you are with those who have NO desire to receive, yet you try force feeding them the gospel message. You are seeking to take away there agency in the process.
But then, countless times people ask questions and in turn I give them what they asked for and more! This is not the same thing as casting pearls before swine. Look at Jesus at the well with the Samaritan woman and see how he gave her what she needed and not necessarily what she wanted. The difference here is that she was open to help and Jesus gave the best he had.
Now lets apply this to the board for another example. We are here because we choose to learn and grow. Many times I pray for each of us here, seeking insight that the Lord wishes we have. Was it something everyone asked for? Not necessarily! Is it casting pearls before swine? NO! It is the blessings of God for those who didnt have the knowledge to ask, yet would appreciate and be blessed by the insight.
So this is a major difference in what we have here, verse what we may experience with the un-churched. Here we offer a free flow of insights that we have received for the benefit of the body (I have found that very few if any insights I have received were not given for me to share). But many of the things I offer here would be harmful to others who cannot eat the meat, still nursing on the milk of the gospel of repentance.
Just pondering...
