For comparison...
1 Corinthians 11:20-32 (New International Version)

20 When you come together, it is not the Lord's Supper you eat,
21 for as you eat, each of you goes ahead without waiting for anybody else. One remains hungry, another gets drunk.
22 Don't you have homes to eat and drink in? Or do you despise the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you for this? Certainly not!

Also, for context... you might consider the verse before it.
verse 19
King James Bible
For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

Based on what I am seeing, I don't think this is about "where" to take communion, but "how."

However... there is nothing that says communion must be taken only in an official church building, or that it be done once a month...  it says to do it often. Smaller house church setting is a great place to do it...
And we usually do a round table before partaking...  letting each one decide whether they are ready, whether they are struggling with something and need prayers first, etc.
