We have been meeting in homes with two different groups, one on Saturday evening, and another on Sunday evening. I highly recommend people join up with a small group that meets in a home (at least as a suppliment to regular Church gatherings), or start a meeting in your own home and invite others. It's best if the group doesn't get too big. Maybe 12-15 people. It can be a study group, a worship group, or some combination.

The BOM says that the people of the Church met together often to discuss the welfare of their souls. There is much more intimacy in smaller groups, and it often becomes easier to let down your guard in a smaller group as you get to know each other. This allows us to share our struggles, confess our sins to one another, and ask for special prayers.

It is important to develop closer relationships than just seeing someone once a week at a formal church meeting. This last weekend, our Saturday night group got together for a day trip and drove a caravan to some historic sites like Haun's Mill, and Far West.

It was good.

Afterwards we all had dinner at a Chinese restaurant on the way home. We also managed to repair a brother's car that had a serious problem. Luckily, we had to mechanics with us, and were able to repair it right in a O'Reily's auto parts parking lot in about 30 minutes.
