I too fellowshipped with the Armstrong group. My father-in-law is with that group. I went with him for about 7 years. I just reached a point where I wasn't getting fed much anymore. I wasn't learning new things. I was teaching new things when they were hungry for them. But that was not so often. Fellowship is like going to the beach. There are those who only lay on the sand and never get to the water. They can only fellowship with those who never come and those who lay on the sand. Then, there are those who walk the shore with the waves breaking over their feet. They can fellowship with those who never come and those who lay on the beach and those who walk the shore. They cannot fellowship with those who go swimming. Ultimately, there are those who are walking on the water, heading out, on the Lord's golden path. They can fellowship with all the others. But only rarely do they find another, walking on the water, on their own golden path. Someone who can fellowship with them that deeply...see eye to eye. And, often, they must move on, because of the path...and the calling of the Lord. Doug and I and you are on those golden paths. It is good to fellowship deeply. We hunger for it when it is just the Lord and ourselves. And, we need deep witnesses from time to time to confirm the path. And we call out to all the others to come on out.....the water's fine....for walking. The Point of View
I stood on the mountain And I cried unto you, "Behold the horizon! Just, look at the view!"
You stood in the valley And cried unto me, "I see only valley And mountains around me!"
I came down with your cries, Remembering the view. And I saw through your eyes The dark valley you knew.
Let's climb from the valley And we'll share in the view. We'll cry to the valley And they"ll cry as did you.
