I read a thought today that offered a different "spin" on what it means to cast your pearls before swine. It said that by casting our
pearls before swine we are giving our efforts to worldly aspirations.
We have typically interpreted this command as meaning that we are not to share the things of God with the ungodly or those who do not desire these things (which I believe is true). But in this second layer of meaning it is more directed to us in how we live our lives. Meaning, that how we use our divine giftedness, whether for our own aspirations and glory or for the glory and will of God determines if we are casting our pearls before swine or not...
Anyway, I found that interesting and wanted to offer it for consideration
