Just wondering if any of you knew of some sites on the web for ladies to share the faith with others.
It seems like we don't have very many here. There must be more restoration people who are out there.
I know all of you who have posted have been a help to me.

Have any of you ever heard of Sid Roth? He is a Messianic Jew- google him and you will find his website- there are some very powerful stuff and I've just read a little. One thing that struck me though was in one of his article he talks about how America has been shielded for the most part from dealing with a lot of the demonic stuff that goes on in the rest of the word- especially Africa, but how that was soon going to come to an end and that we needed to prepare ourselves for it by having Christ live in us and not just sit in a pew on Sundays.
Anyway, I was just curious to see what others thought of him.

This has been an interesting path for me over the past 5 or so years. I grew up in the Utah LDS church with the goals of going on a mission and getting married to a returned missionary in the temple. That changed when I met Chris- he's not Mormon, or really any religion. Well, being the stout Mormon young woman that I was, I had grand dreams of converting him and his entire family to "the truth". I think I was a little naive. Living away from the mormon culture taught me a lot of things- Mainly- that God is in everything! I am now no longer attending the Utah LDS church, but am currently going to an Assemblies of God church. To say this has been a big change for me would be an understatement. I am still going through a myriad of emotions although they aren't as constant today as they have been over the last two years.
In some ways I feel betrayed by my upbringing. I feel as though I was taught that I could never...

Lately I have been seeing all the mocking that goes on around us on a daily basis and it has really been bothering me. Mocking and making fun of people has become such a way of life that we don't even think about it. I get emails all the time that make fun of the faults of men/husbands- ones that make fun of children or parents or in-laws. I recently attended some family get-togethers and was sad at the level of humor at the expense of others came from my family. I love listrening to talk radio(I stay at home with my kids and we don't watch tv- so it is my way of connecting with the outside world) and I am just saddened by how often they make fun of any that don't agree with them- one even made jokes about one of his co-workers for a while and then went on to say that we need to come together as a country. How can we come together if we are constantly tearing each other down as humor?

Believe or agree

There has been a million words spoken on the way people believe.
And yet to see a changed life is another thing.
So that must be where the agreement comes in.
Today as I read yet another headline of moral decline in our churches as well as the country in general, it brings it into clearer focus.
   As with the priest so with the people.   Untill the church takes a stand for the pure words of Christ, the people will be lulled into a false sense of security.
That ole "everybody is getting away with it". Don't judge, is the cry of the day.
A persons own words are going to be their judgement.    (John 5;30)
There is just as much diffrence between discernment and judgement as there is between believe and agreement.
When we see all around falling into deception we can discern that. To do...

Visit to Zion this next week

Hello all,

I will be leaving here Saturday morning for a week long visit to Zion per the Lord's instructions. It started out as a Church Conference but now it has "evolved" into a personal vacation and spiritual pilgrimage. I would like to fellowship with any on this board who might live in the Independence area. Especially Doug, Matt and others whom have become good friends here. A good chance to meet people face to face and fellowship.

We will be staying at the Quality Inn in Independence. We also hope to have time to Visit Nauvoo.

Viewing the dirty laundry of others

A couple moved into a new neighborhood. The next morning while they were eating breakfast, the wife saw her neighbor hanging the wash outside. 'That laundry is not very clean,' she said. 'She doesn't know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap.'

Her husband looked on, but remained silent.

Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the wife would make the same comments.

About one month later, the wife was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: 'Look, she has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this.'

The husband said, 'I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows.'
Vision seen during our July 3^rd Saturday night Worship Service in Independence MO

We had just seen a number of the gifts of the Spirit being exercised by multiple people in our small group to expose something the enemy was trying to do to one of our brothers. A physical healing was gained after he repented. We then began in an attitude of worship and sang a song or two. The Holy Ghost, in great abundance, filled the room and settled upon us like a heavy dew.

I saw, within my mind, a vision of myself and a number of the other people in the room with me. We were together someplace in Independence. It was sometime in the near future. I don’t know when. The Spirit of God was with us. He was prompting us to claim that piece of land we were standing on, for God. It was some place in the Independence area, but I don’t know where. Family in trouble.

My daughter and her family have been evicted from their home. They have lost most of their possesions. Yesterday at 4:00pm, my 15 year old grand daughter took off. We still have not heard from her. My 17 year old grand daughter who is married went into labor last night. As of this morning, she still hasn't had the baby. Asking for prayers. God bless, Rick.

We have a good friend of ours in MI who is going through a real battle with the adversary right now. She just found out that her husband was messing around with a married woman. Her husband and this woman stole money from her business, and the last time she saw her husband, she found a burnt crucifix in the fire pit in their back yard. She has gone into a serious depression. The adversary is trying to ruin her and it is affecting her health. She has had a bad case of bronchitis since she found the crucifix (about 3 weeks now). Fortunately she attends a good church and has people there who will lay hands on her. I advised her to get that done right away. In the meantime I am asking for prayer for our friend from anyone who reads this and feels led to prayer for her. Thank you.

Deliverance of children

Last night I got to be part of the deliverance of a young boy, about 5 years old.

It was my first personal experience with the deliverance of a small child.

Praise God for the experience, and for this young man's deliverance, who God has called to one day become a mighty warrior.

Previous to this, participated in and was witness to the deliverance of his parents. Thank you God, that your hand is at work among your Saints. In the restoration of things, surely at the top of the list of things to be done for His people is to see them all set free in the name of Jesus!

Tongues & Prayer Language

This is a subject that has been on the back-burner for me for quite a long time now, but because it seems to cause some confusion in the Body of Christ, and because I remain confused about it, I wanted to bring it up here to explore and pray over.

I'm know I don't understand this yet ...
but, it seems to me that just as the "rapture" theory seems to be a confusion between two different events that take place at two different times.
1. gathering
2. being caught up into the clouds to meet Jesus when He comes in glory

It seems like something along these lines might be happening with tongues, and I am hoping to hear from other about it as part of my seeking.

Seems like there is the GIFT OF TONGUES, with its close relative, the GIFT OF INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES...
which is among the list of many different gifts listed in the scriptures, of which Paul seems to go out of his way to suggest, not every man has the same gifts.

Daily sacrifices

I just completed a Beth Moore Bible study course on Daniel. I highly recommend it- I learned so much about Daniel and the Bible! It really was amazing. She has a DVD session that introduces the chapter at the beginning of the week and then you have daily homework that you complete that goes more in depth with that chapter. Anyway, I had missed a couple of sessions because it was my turn to watch all the kids so I was able to listen to her introductions on CD(mainly in the car while driving). The lesson for this particular week was Chapter11, Daniel had just had a vision about the reign of Antiochus III and how he is the forerunner of the Antichrist. She talks about one of the things he did was to stop all the daily sacrifices and how this would make the people feel more separated from God. She asked what daily sacrifices we make in our lives today. It got me thinking about reading the scriptures and how we are supposed to read...
